Let's put into practice new routines and habits to shape our identity and become who we want to be.

💬Habits are the architecture of our identity.”
When we are born, our minds are like a blank piece of paper — no habits, no identity, no beliefs to guide how we think or act.
As we grow, we start writing on that page. Through our life experiences, family values, friendships, societal expectations, and self-judgments, we begin to shape who we become.
Habits are the brushstrokes that give colour and shape to our identity. They are not just actions or routines — they are reflections of how we see ourselves and how we live our lives.
Some habits move us closer to the person we want to become. Others, without realising, hold us back.
So, can we really change who we are?
Absolutely.
While our personality has a natural base, our identity — the way we perceive ourselves — is flexible. Through conscious systems, good habits, and meaningful goals, we can reshape our lives in every aspect: personally, professionally, and emotionally.
🌱 The Formula for Change
System + Habits + Goals = Achievement
1.- The System
The system is the foundation of every change — it’s what keeps everything working consistently. Whether in life, business, education, or relationships, systems create structure.
When your system is aligned with your goals, progress feels natural; when it’s not, even small changes feel impossible.
Let me share a personal example.
Years ago, I wanted to be healthier. Yet my system was out of balance — I ate fast food, didn’t exercise, slept poorly, and felt constantly tired. I wasn’t living as the person I wanted to be.
So I started changing my system — not with extreme diets or strict plans, but through small, sustainable steps.
I began cooking at home and experimenting with new healthy meals (Habit 1). I noticed I felt lighter and started sleeping better (Habit 2). I stopped obsessing over my weight and focused on feeling healthy (Habit 3). Then, I naturally felt motivated to exercise (Habit 4).
The real achievement wasn’t losing weight — it was becoming a healthy person.
When I changed my system and habits, my identity shifted as well.
2.- The Habit
Habits keep us on track.
At first, new habits can feel challenging — making your bed, going to the gym, reading, or meditating may seem unnatural. But over time, they become part of who you are.
If you make your bed every day, you start to see yourself as an organised person.
If you read often, you become a reader.
If you exercise regularly, you begin to see yourself as an active person.
Each small step is a vote for the person you are becoming. That’s how habits build confidence and consistency.
3.- The Goals
Goals are the colourful flags we collect along the marathon of life — but they are not the finish line.
Many people believe that setting goals is the key to achieving happiness. Yet, without the right system and habits, goals can feel unreachable, leading to frustration and self-criticism.
Imagine wanting to be an organised person, but your home is chaotic. You have a life-changing job interview, yet your clothes are unwashed and your favourite shirt isn’t ready. You feel rushed, stressed, and unprepared.
That pressure reinforces negative self-beliefs: “I can’t change,” “I always fail.”
Now, imagine you had a system in place — doing laundry twice a week, preparing outfits the night before, keeping your space tidy.
You’d wake up calm, confident, and ready. You’d walk into that interview as the organised, prepared person you chose to be.
That’s how good systems and habits turn goals into achievements.
🌿 Achievement and Identity
Achievement isn’t just about reaching external milestones — it’s about how we identify ourselves.
When we consistently apply healthy habits, we begin to embody the change.
Our language matters too.
For example, if someone offers you fast food, don’t say “No thanks, I’m trying to lose weight.”
That reinforces the identity of someone still struggling.
Instead, say “No thanks, I’m not hungry.” — because you are now identifying as a healthy person.
If you look in the mirror and say “I look terrible,” your brain will believe it.
But if you begin to say “I’m learning to care for myself,” you’ll start seeing that reflected in your behaviour and confidence.
💡 Final Thought
Your habits are not just things you do — they are who you become.
With every action, you are shaping your future self.
Build systems that support your goals, nurture habits that align with your values, and speak to yourself like someone worth believing in.
🌿 System + Habits + Goals = Achievement.
That’s how you grow into the person you want to be.
